2007年6月份俄罗斯联邦驻广州总领事馆长期停顿以后重新开馆。俄领事馆在广州的历史悠久，前苏联领事馆最早于1916年在广州沙面建馆。
领事区包括：广东省、江西省、福建省、海南省、云南省以及广西壮族自治区。
目前俄罗斯与中国地区之间的关系蓬勃发展，其中许多广东省地区同俄罗斯城市已建立了友好城市关系。越来越多俄罗斯人选择来到中国南方这个颇有前景的商业、教育中心或者到这里旅游度假。同时，去俄罗斯的中国商业家、游客和学生的群体越来越大。
俄罗斯联邦驻广州总领事馆向常住或者临时访问中国南部省份的俄罗斯公民、中国公民以及合法居住中国的第三国公民提供领事和信息服务。
总领事馆功能包括：保护俄罗斯联邦及其公民、法人、的合法利益；促进俄罗斯同中国南方之间的经贸、文化、科学交流；加强两国之间的友好关系。
俄罗斯联邦驻广州总领事馆签证处：每天周一到周五（假日除外）上午9:00 时至12:30 时。

莫斯科时间2月20日起，俄罗斯临时禁止中国公民入境
当地时间2月18日，俄罗斯政府发布消息称，自莫斯科时间2月20日零时起，俄方临时禁止持工作、私人访问、学习和旅游签证的中国公民入境。
自2月19日起，俄方暂停受理、审批和颁发中国公民的工作邀请函和境外中国公民的工作许可，暂停受理、审批和颁发中国公民的私人访问和学习邀请函，暂停向中国公民颁发学习、私人访问和旅游签证。

Russian Language Summer School at the Financial University in Moscow 9-30 July 2019
Each of us, thinking about how to design our lives, wants to get a degree and get a university diploma. However, practical experience shows that those who do not rest on their laurels and devote their free time to self-education are those who turn out to be lucky. One of the areas for self-education might be foreign language studies. They say it for a reason that “How many languages you know — that many times you are a person". This is true since, as they say, “A different language is a different vision of life". Certainly, a language is formed under certain conditions during a specific nation development period, and a foreign language helps understand the culture of a people that speaks the language.
et's look at this issue from the point of view of Economics. If you know a foreign language, you do not need to pay a translator if you would like to buy a souvenir during trip to a foreign country, but there is not just a pragmatic reason for learning a foreign language, there are purely medical reasons for it. Foreign language learning process slows down the aging process, improves mental activity and memory, makes thinking more flexible and develops non-standard thinking.
Instead of offering miraculous pills that would improve your memory and mental activity to you, we suggest that you join groups of participants of the Financial University Summer School of the Russian Language.
We can offer you lessons conducted by an instructor, teaching material examination and analysis, meetings and conversations with the native speakers in the summertime. Moreover, you will have an opportunity to see Moscow, join us in the swing of life of one of the world's megalopolises, take a look at the historical monuments, and learn more about the Russian traditions and culture.
The Summer School will work from the 9th of July till the 30th of July 2019 in the Financial University campus in Moscow. You will have an opportunity to combine learning the Russian language with the tours of Moscow during which you could see the key sights of the Russian capital.
